The City of Cayce is pleased to announce the hiring of Keisha Brunson as the new Director of Human Resources. Ms. Brunson will officially begin her role with the City on August 4, 2025.

Keisha Brunson brings with her over a decade of progressive experience in human resources leadership, strategy, and operations across both public and higher education sectors. She most recently served as the Assistant Human Resources Director at the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business, where she was instrumental in streamlining onboarding processes, managing classification and compensation systems, and guiding hiring procedures for academic departments and support units.

Her expertise includes employee relations, workplace investigations, training and development, and ensuring compliance with state and federal labor laws. Ms. Brunson’s previous roles include serving as a Human Resources Generalist for the Richland County Recreation Commission and a Promotions Coordinator and HR Liaison for the South Carolina Highway Patrol Division. She has also worked in administrative and HR leadership capacities at Columbia Housing, the SC Department of Administration, and the SC Department of Motor Vehicles.

Ms. Brunson holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina.
