July 4 Fireworks Safety Information
As you prepare to celebrate with friends and family, it is important to know the law, to review firework safety tips and to consider your neighbors, children, our veterans and pets during the holiday weekend!
Know the Law:
Cayce City Ordinance Sec. 20-46. - Discharge of fireworks: It shall be unlawful for any person to use, fire, shoot, or discharge any fireworks within the corporate limits of the city, except as provided by section 20-47. Which states: The discharging or shooting of fireworks on the 4th of July between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
