City of Cayce Sewer Line Rehabilitation Project

This project involves rehabbing 1225 linear feet of deteriorating sewer line. The project includes the replacement or rehabilitation of 9-manholes and the cleaning and Cured In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining (including the reconnection of all existing services) of approximately 1,225-LF of existing 8 and 10-inch gravity sewer pipe near State Street, Railroad Street, and Holland Avenue. All work will be performed in the right-of-way or the City of Cayce prescriptive easement areas.

This project is funded through Lexington County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. Therefore, all rules and regulations related to such funding will apply. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Orders 11246 & 11375 which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex or national origin. Bidders must comply with title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and 40 CFR 33.240. Bidders must also make positive efforts to use small and minority-owned businesses.
