Guignard Park

Cayce is located on the banks of the Congaree River, just across from the state capital (Columbia). There are a number of fun and interesting places to spend a day in the Cayce area.

Our most popular park is the Cayce Riverwalk Park, which stretches for 2.5 miles along the river. Offering lighted pathways, 24-hour security and an outdoor amphitheatre, Riverwalk is a scenic place for walking, picnicking or catching a show.

There are a number of other parks in Cayce to enjoy. Guignard Park, Granby Gardens, Glenwood Park, Lee Street Park, and Andrew J. Burnette Park offer outdoor recreation, grills and picnic areas, playgrounds for the kids and scenic spaces for enjoying the great outdoors.

Granby Pavilion is located across from the City Hall complex on 12th Street Extension and features a covered shelter with eight picnic tables, a stage, four barbeque pits, and access to electricity and water. It can accommodate between 80 and 100 people.

Located on New State Road, the Thomas A. Newman Boat landing offers a lighted area and fishing pier for the outdoorsman who enjoys catching their dinner the old fashion way – with a rod and reel!
